Dinner (on request for minimum of 4 people) is a 5-course set-menu and the price includes home made wine. The hotel requires a 3 nights minimum stay in the apartments during high season and 7 night minimum stay in low season. Rooms require a 3 night minimum stay in low season and 2 night minimum in high season.

Villa Sampaguita B&B is situated just ten minutes drive from the historic town of Asti, the major center of the Piemonte wine region, and an ideal base for touring vineyards, wineries, and excellent restaurants of Northeast Italy. The city of Alba is famous for its yearly truffle fair and the vineyards of the Barolo region are only thirty minutes away. Villa Sampaguita B&B is on a ridge surrounded by woods, orchards and vineyards, with panoramic views over the Monferatto hills and, on a clear day, of the Alpine mountains. The farm comprises 11 hectares (~25 acres) of vineyards, cultivated fields, orchards woods, and a stream, located inside the Val de Botto e Valleandona, a national park and protected fossil area. For guests who want to relax in nature, the farm is big enough to wander around, explore the woodland, look for fossils, and absorb the tranquil atmosphere. Villa Sampaguita B&B was built at the turn of last century as a working farmhouse, which included house, stables and barns under one roof, with a large underground cantina for making wine. The house has been lovingly restored and modernized and now includes a huge barn that has been turned into 4 deluxe suites each with its own bathroom and view of surrounding countryside, plus two self-contained apartments. In addition there is a guest lounge complete with library and satellite TV. Villa Sampaguita B&B does not have a formal restaurant, but Asti and other nearby towns have a wonderful selection. Guests are most welcome to share home-cooked meals using the farm's organically grown produce. Rina is a great cook and blends Asian and Italian cuisine expertly. Local wines are included of course. Apartments can be rented in the winter for groups (an extra supplement for heat is required). Breakfast is not included in the price of the apartments
Family Information
Cots for infants are free of charge, and they don't charge breakfast for under 5's. Dinners are half-price for under 12's.

Notes In the winter there is an extra charge for heating. Asti is a natural jumping off point for tours of the Monferrato, Langhe & Roero wine districts, and tours and agendas can be arranged for visits to wineries specializing in Barolo, Barbera, Barbaresco, Moscato D'Asti and other fabulous wines of this region
