Castel Pietraio was once an important medieval defensive outpost of Siena - and now it is a delightful small hotel with both hotel and apartment accommodation. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped with modern conveniences and all are ensuite. The apartments can accommodate from 2 to 5 people, and all include cooking areas equipped with necessary kitchen utensils, living rooms, bathrooms. The price of the apartments include tax, use of gas and water (heating can be extra). The double rooms and suites in the castle include breakfast and taxes. The rooms are attractively decorated and have a very cosy feel. There are extensive exterior spaces for relaxation, and a swimming pool and parkgrounds. Throughout, the renovations have been carried out with sensitive attention to the original castle structure. There is not a restaurant at the castle but in the vicinity there is a restaurant, a foodstore, tennis court and riding school. The ambience is relaxed and pleasant.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival, 30% of stay will be charged. If cancelled 30 to 16 days prior to arrival, 50% of stay will be charged. If cancelled 15 to 4 days prior to arrival. 80% of stay will be charged. If cancelled 3 days or less prior to arrival or no show, 100% of stay will be charged.
