For groups a deposit is required upon booking. Easter minimum stay 3 nights required. Historical Residence Villa di Piazzano was built in the early 1500’s by Cardinal Silvio Passerini as his hunting manor. Today Villa di Piazzano has been beautifully restored by the current owners and has seventeen uniquely decorated guestrooms with character and charm. Located 2.5 km from Cortona, it provides an ideal base for planning day trips to Florence, Siena, the Chianti region, Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi and many other interesting sites, as well as to wineries and olive oil mills. Enjoy the hotel's beautiful swimming pool and Italian gardens, or walk in the pleasant hills surrounding the Villa. The hotel has excellent guides who will escort you to the Southern Tuscany wine country, the trails leading through the hills surrounding Villa di Piazzano and the local cities of interest. At the Villa an à la carte menu is prepared by Florentine chefs using only the highest quality of local ingredience. Please reserve a table prior to arrival (closed Tuesdays). Breakfast, tax and service is included in the price of your room.
