30% non refundable deposit required upon booking The historic Relais Villa Giulia, in a panoramic location overlooking the sea, offers elegant yet cosy accomodation and a warm welcome by an aristocratic family. Staying at Villa Giulia is like opening a history book, with its fascinating background of the old owners of the Villa, like the Prince Eugène de Beauharnais or the Baroness Giulia de Rolland. The ancestors of the current owners are everywere in the park and in the Residence. The lounges and the bedrooms (four doubles and two suites) are handsomely furnished with antique original furnitures. In the attractive parlours and in the livingrooms there are books and comfortable couches, pictures and objects from the past! The lush mediterranean park is full of romantic spots: in fact Villa Giulia is a perfect setting for a honeymoon or anniversary. The scene is enriched by a hanging garden including a lemon greenhouse, a beautiful pond with aquatic plants and a wide solarium-terrace overlooking the sea and the city of Fano. The large swimming pool, also overlooking the sea, adjoins the ancient Olive Grove of the family's farm. Just five minutes away are sandy beaches and the cities of Fano and Pesaro, that offer many important monuments, museums, theatres and Villa Giulia is a great starting point for sightseeing in Marche, Umbria and Emilia Romagna regions and Tuscany, the Arezzo and Siena area - is reacheable within 2 hours drive. A large variety of good restaurants in the neighborhood offer the chance of tasting the famous Adriatic fish or the traditional rustic cuisine. Note: breakfast is not included in the cost of self-catering apartments.
Notes By train: railway station of Fano ( 1,5 miles ) or Pesaro ( 2,5 miles ). Water sports, beach facilities, tennis, golf (Golf Club Rimini, Golf Club Conero), the Fano Aeroclub and riding are available within 10 minutes' drive. Villa Giulia is a wonderful starting point all over the year for sightseeing to some beautiful Cities of Art, all of them of important architectural and artistic value., such as Fano, Pesaro, Urbino, Urbania, Fossombrone, Ancona, Osimo and many others and for unforgettable relaxing walks and breaks in protected areas of natural beauty such as San Bartolo Park and Conero Park. See the beautiful mountains with deep and mysterious caves like the spectacular Frasassi Cave.

Beautiful old mansion. The family who runs it are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The pool area is in spacious grounds (but little shade!) The room was comfortable and air conditioned. The food was extraordinary.

Everything! Villa Giulia sits on a beautiful piece of property with gorgeous views of land and sea. The accomodations are very comfortable and nicely decorated. It is so peaceful and relaxing you feel as though you are vacationing at a meditation resort! And the owners are a wonderful family that seem to have a speciality in making their guests feel right at home. My visit of 21 days was magical. I will definitely return!

“The only problem was that no matter how hard we tried we could not stop the shower curtain from getting water on the floor.
We had a lovely visit, my children loved itand their new litter of puppies! It was all very nice family from all over Europe there. Everyone was very polite. A very child friendly environment. The staff was very kind and helpful.” Rating: Excellent
