This spectacular property is owned by a direct descendent of the poet Dante, and some of the ancient estate buildings have been lovingly restored and converted into a residence with eight spacious apartments. All are beautifully and elegantly furnished. The estate produces well known wines, oils and other products and there is the opportunity for tastings and Veronese cookery classes (which are very highly regarded). A description of the eight apartments follows: Corvina (4 pp) located on first floor with large sitting room with fireplace, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one double with own bathroom and one twin); Rondinella (4 pp) located on first floor, sitting room with fireplace, kitchen and hall providing access to bathroom with shower. Two bedrooms with double beds. Molinara (2 pp) on the second floor, sitting room with kitchen and double bedroom with bath. Negrara (3 pp) on the second floor, large living room with beamed ceilings, kitchen, bedroom with one twin bed and shower, master bedroom with double bed and bath. Rossignola (2 pp) On the second floor with sitting room, fireplace and kitchenette, master bedroom with double bed and bathroom. Dindarella (2 pp) Halfway between the first and second floors, in a different wing of the building, with sitting room with kitchenette, hallway with access to masterbedroom and bathroom. Forselina (3 pp) Halfway between first and second floors, in a different wing, sitting room with kitchenette, hallway with access to bathroom, small bedroom with twin bed, and master bedroom with double bed and its own bathroom. Oseleta (2 pp) in the ancient tower with winding staircase, divided into 3 floors. On first floor is the entrance and sitting room, on the second floor kitchenette and bathroom, on the third floor master bedroom with double bed.
Notes Cookery classes, wine and oil tasting can be organized. Cooking courses are run by "La Foresteria" with lessons given by professional Chef. Half day courses (min. 8, max. 12 people) are organized on request. Price is Euro 110,00 per person. The price includes chef, kitchen, food, information material and the final meal composed of the courses prepared by the students, matched with the wines form the estate. (Accommodation is not included in above mentioned price). Courses are in Italian, German and English. Check-in up to 18:00 hours. Please contact the hotel direct if you plan to arrive after this time (to make arrangements for handover of keys). On day of arrival the apartment is available from 14:00 and on day of departure apartment must be vacated by 10:30 a.m.

“It was also stunning!! But I think people who stay in the tower (Oselleto - can't remember spelling) should be warned that the stair case is very narrow and winding - very difficult to manage if you happen to be overweight and/or you have large suitcases - we fortunately are average sized had small overnight bags!! The view was fabulous and we had a bird's nest (with 2 babies) nesting on one of the window ledges. I loved it!!”
