Only 5 km. from the historic town of Lucca, and at the foot of Monti Pisani, is this delightful small hotel that was, in the nineteenth century, a hunting lodge. Recently opened, the Villa is surrounded by a splendid Renaissance Lucchese garden, and on the hillside nearby is an impressive view of the peaceful Convent of San Cerbone, still in use today. There are just ten standard and deluxe double rooms, all fully ensuite, uniquely decorated and with elegant furnishings, pleasant colour schemes and simple architecture. The rooms are have shower, hairdryer, minibar, air conditioning and statellite television. There is a private neo-classical chapel in the grounds (an ideal location for a special wedding). Villa Marta has an excellent wine cellar and restaurant specializing in Tuscan cuisine. You can also take cooking lessons here. On request the owners can set up wine and oil tasting with professional sommeliers.

LOUNGE BAR is open from midday till 2.30 pm, for snacks (sandwiches, pizza, salads)
RESTAURANT is open 5/7 days from 8- 10 during the high season. Reservations are essential. Typical Tuscan food (no fish is prepared here) The restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Cancellation Policy:
In Low and Mid Season if the reservation is cancelled 3 days or less prior to arrival, one nights stay will be charged by the hotel. In High Season (and 01/10 to 04/11) if the reservation is cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival, 80% of the entire stay will be charged by the hotel. Reservations are valid until 6pm. After 6pm the reservation will be cancelled and the penalty will be charged by the hotel.

It was excellent. The staff went out of there way to make sure we were oriented to the place. Our room,the exterior and the entire place were exquisite. I found myself taking pictures of the interior design.... The food was great, both for breakfast and a late night snack. We didn't partake of the restaurant.
