Located in the heart of Umbria, just outstide the walls of the medieval village of Marcellano, the setting of Grand Relais Laurenti is gorgeous. The location is just thirty minutes from all of the main art cities in the region. In a building dating back to 1600 (and once a convent) a small and exclusive hotel has been skilfully carved from this lovely property. Surrounded by a private park full of ancient oaks and flowers, there is a very pleasant swimming pool and lots of shady spots in which to relax. There are twenty one spacious, quiet rooms each with its own bathroom and with satellite television, minibar and safe. The rooms have beamed ceilings, tiled floors and furnishings of primary colours. The Relais Restaurant is elegant and stylish and the menu features traditional cuisine.
