Castello dell'Oscano is a neo-Gothic castle (but with parts dating back to the 12th century) situated in the quiet of the gentle Umbrian hills, surrounded by a 250 hectare park, halfway between Gubbio and Perugia in a wonderfully pastoral setting. In the castle are eleven spacious suites and junior suites all with full bathroom and filled with antique furniture. There is a delightful dining room, library, and comfortable sitting area with enormous fireplace in this historic building. Just 10 metres from the castle is Villa Ada, a delightful 19th century residence which blends pleasingly with the castle, with an additional 21 double rooms/jr. suites all with full bathrooms. All the facilities of the Castle, including the dining room and swimming pool, are included with stays at Villa Ada. The restaurant serves typical regional cuisine and is table d'hote style (two starters, two different types of pasta or similar, one main course, two side dishes and dessert for approx. 40 euros per person). In addition to these beautiful properties, there is an original gardeners cottage with two suites (self-catering) which can accommodate up to four persons each, and elsewhere on the property 13 self-catering apartments, some of which are large enough for 7-8 people, known as La Macina dell'Oscano, once an olive oil producing facilitity and now attractive and functional holiday apartments. Prices are approximately 375 to 775 euros a week, and they are available only on a weekly basis. Please note the breakfast is not included in the price of the apartments (but may be purchased separately).

The hotel has a restaurant "Turandot" it serves local traditional umbrian-tuscan food, it never closes: 38Eu.
Notes Wine tasting & cooking classes can be organized. Visits to Assissi, Cortono, Lake Trasimeno, Baci Perugina factory (chocolate factory), Deruta cermaics, Olive oil tasting. This is a wonderful location for weddings - and everything from the ceremony to reception can be offered.

If the reservation is cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival there is no hotel penalty. If it is cancelled 30 to 21 days prior to arrival the hotel will charge 15% of the total stay. If cancelled 20 to 14 days prior to arrival 30% of the total amount of the booking will be charged. If cancelled 13 to 7 days prior to arrival 50% of the total amount of the stay will be charged by the hotel. If cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival the total amount of the booking will be charged by the hotel.
