Restaurant closed every Monday and Tuesday for lunch except in July and August. Min 3 night stay for half board. Located in the small village of Plois, near Pieve d'Alpago, between Venice and Cortona, this little inn is in a wonderful location on the slopes of the Dolada mountain overlooking Santa Croce Lake. The Inn was built in 1923 and has passed through four generations of the De Pra family and the reputation for warmth and good hospitality, and of course good food, continues. Rossana de Pra has created cosy rooms decorated in warm colours, with family antiques. The kitchen is Enzo de Pra's responsibility and with his son Riccardo and chef Stefano Chiesura, they have created a wonderful restaurant offering a wide range of regional and innovative cuisine, using home produced and organic products. Riccardo produces the cheeses, smokes the ricotta cheese and fish and Enzo takes care of the vegetables from the garden, while aunt Rosina is the meat specialist (having always reared animals in the mountain tradition). In the restaurant Rossana, professional sommelier, and Benedetta will help you choose appropriate wines to go with your food. The atmosphere is both intimate and romantic and is a perfect place to spend a honeymoon or anniversary. There are six rooms and one suite, and all rooms have a queen size bed, private bathroom, television, radio, telephone and minibar...and wonderful view all over the lake.

Notes Individualised haute cuisine lessons or courses (minimum 8-10 people) held by Enzo de Pra. Hiking, nature walks, nearby golf, tennis, paragliding, water sports, tennis and horse riding. See the Dolomites and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Venice and its treasures, the Alpago Community, local hamlets and villages. Please note that the restaurant is open everyday.
