Ravello is a charming spot on the Amalfi Coast, well- known for its physical beauty. Situated in the historic centre of Ravello, sheltered and surrounded by the green pines, Villa Rufolo has a sweeping view over the Gulf. The spacious rooms are very comfortable and full of history. The guest list has many famous names from the world of literature, music and politics - D. H. Lawrence who began writing Lady Chatterley’s Lover while a guest at the hotel, Domenico Rea and Lucette Desvignes, Bruno Walter and Rostropovich, Charles Bronson and Carla Fracci, Einaudi, Togliatti and Douglas Hurd. Hotel Rufolo has a panoramic restaurant, a swimmingpool, garden, terraces, solarium, lounge, bar and snackbard. There is also a garage (rare in Ravello!) The suites have terrace and seaviews and the double rooms have sea or garden views, and all have telephone, hairdryer, satellite television, minibar, air conditioning and safe.

Visit Naples and the many attractive towns on the Amalfi coast (narrow, winding roads!) Transfer from the aiport can be arranged at 95 Euros each way.
