50% deposit required upon booking. For Half Board accommodation 3 nights minimum stay required. Agriturismo La Rocca Orvieto is a ten room rural property with lots of attractions. There is a wellness centre with Jacuzzi and steamroom, a swimming pool, gym, outdoor jacuzzi and mountain bikes on which to explore the area. In Umbria, the green heart of Italy, and just 5 Km from the historic centre of Orvieto, La Rocca overlooks the lovely cathedral in the distance. There are several buildings on the farm: in the main house (originally Gualtieri Mill) is the reception area, the rooms, the gym and wellness centre. The restaurant and the swimming pool are in another building on the property. There are also nine apartments of various sizes. The guestrooms (all non-smoking) have private bathrooms with hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, satellite television, direct dial phone, internet connection and safe. Each room has its own private external area, balcony, garden or terrace with great views over Orvieto. The buffet breakfast consists of home made specialities and is served in the attractive dining room. In the restaurant local products are used in a regional menu and the Cantina Altarocca's winelist is one of the best in the area.

Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room with sofa, one or more bedrooms, one or more bathrooms. The restaurant is everyday available for lunch and dinner (à la carte). Typical and tasty food prepared with local products and served with our Cantina Altarocca's wines and those of the best wine cellars of the area.
Notes La Rocca Orvieto is an ideal base for exploring Orvieto, Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Terni, Spoleto, Firenze, Siena, Arezzo and Roma. In less than an hour you can reach Maremma (Pitigliano, Manciano, Scansano, Capalbio…) and in the north, Lazio (Viterbo, Tuscania, Tarquinia...). The are many thermal baths in the area - Chianciano, S. Casciano dei Bagni, Saturnia, Viterbo e Bagni S. Filippo and natural beauties such as the Marmore Waterfall, the Trasimeno Lake, the Amiata Mount and Bolsena Lake, ideal destination for sailers and windsurfers.
