Palazzo di Luglio (July Palace) is located just a short drive from the Medieval town of Sansepolcro, in the countryside on the road that eventually reaches Rimini. It is an expansive and very pleasing small hotel, with exceptionally friendly and helpful owner and staff. Originally the summer residence of Italian nobility, and used only in the month of July, and then later the property of two farmers, the building has been lovingly restored by its current owner into an exceptionally pleasant small hotel with a wonderful little restaurant open only to guests. Surrounded by a park and olive groves (and the restaurant uses their own olive oil in the kitchen), there is a swimming pool and outdoor eating area. The rooms are in three separate buildings and are spacious, nicely decorated, furnished with antiques and all have modern bathrooms. The suites have a double bedroom and large living room (and full bathrooms). Original timbers, stone and brickwork add to the warmth of the rooms. From November to December the oil press is opened to those interested in watching, or participating in, the making of olive oil. We have received excellent feedback on this property.

Notes Advantageous weekly (7 night) rates are available. The museum in Sansepolcro is exceptional; Sansepolcro was the birthplace of Piero Della Francesca and the museum contains many of his best works. Mountain biking and hiking in the area are very popular. Horseriding is closeby.
