Casa Frassi is an 18th century village located in a panoramic area in the heart of Chianti between Siena and Castellina in Chianti. It has been restored and made into a pleasant, family-style hotel with twenty five rooms in the guesthouse, all with bath or shower, and ten rooms in an annex. The rooms can accommodate two or three people, and some are adjoining for family use. Three of the double rooms also have a terrace. There is a swimming pool, tennis court and extensive grounds. The restaurant serves Tuscan and International cuisine (range 30-35 euros per person). Casa Frassi produces both olive oil and wine. This is a relaxed, informal hotel spread over a large property, and with friendly staff and good food. It is fairly isolated and quiet.

Extra bed free of charge for 1 child under 12 when sharing a room with 2 adults. 2 children under 12 sharing parents' room = triple room rate

Meal Information

The hotel has a restaurant with a menu à la carte, (please reserve in advance). Typical Tuscan food is offered. Restaurant closed on Tuesdays.

Notes

Cooking classes are available at the hotel from 50 to 110 Euros per person. There is a playground available for children. Guided tours of both wineries and Siena can be arranged by the hotel as well as hot air balloon rides.
