In the 14th century the little village of Amorosa was a bustling place. In the 21st century, the entire village is now the charming small inn, Locanda dell'Amorosa. The old stables are now a restaurant, the cellars are filled with excellent wines and the guest rooms are in the manor house. Located in the countryside among the rolling Sienese hills looking over the Chiana Valley, it is a perfect base from which to explore the cities of Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Chiusi, the Val d'Orcia including Pienza and the many vineyards in the region. It is also a place in which relaxation is easy. The elegant restaurant serves Tuscan food (approximately 60 euros pp) and there is also a Enoteca wine-bar where tasting can be arranged and where light snacks are served. There is a pleasant swimming pool and gardens and the hotel can arrange for bikes to be delivered to clients. Horseriding is just 10 minutes away. The Locanda is 3 km. from the town of Sinalunga.

The restaurant Le Coccole dell'Amorosa is closed every Monday and Tuesday except for breakfast. As alternative the Osteria Wine Bar will be open offering a reduced menu with local warm and cold dishes.
