50% deposit required upon booking. This lovely old building is situated in the commune of Torrita di Siena a few kilometres from Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano and Cortona. Built in the 13th century, it is set in a beautiful landscape of cypresses and olive groves. Staying at the Residence of Art is a unique experience: an inn where you are surrounded by art, both pictorial and sculptural (around 300 works) that are inside and outside - a cultural feast of the past and present. Each room is comfortably and uniquely decorated using wood, fireplaces, arches, old stone and, of course, wonderful art. The rooms all have full bathrooms (with shower, hair dryer, etc.), frigobar and television. The rooms have independent entrances and enchanting panoramic views. The inn offers painting courses, cultural tours throughout Tuscany, wine tours in Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Chianti area, massages in the small relaxing area, and horseriding. There is a swimming pool (45 m X 15 m) 4 km. from the property which guests are welcome to use. This is a wonderful area for gastronomy, for walking and for generally exploring Tuscany. In the summer months dinner can be arranged at the Villa by prior arrangement. The closest restaurant is 400 metres away, and a lovely walk. There are two non-smoking rooms available.
