Metropolitan Hotel: CharacterOn the southeast coast of Sicily, located in an ancient palace in Ortigia (a tiny island with wonderful medieval and Baroque streets), the small hotel L'approdo delle Sirene offers excellent hospitality in a quiet and refined atmosphere. Surrounded by the waters of a natural port and a canal, many of the rooms enjoy these great views. All the guestrooms are furnished in Mediterranean style, with full bathroom, air conditioning, television, telephon and minibar. They are simply decorated with clean, bright colours appropriate to the setting. Breakfast includes dishes that are home-cooked using fresh local ingredients and is served on the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea and surrounded by jasmine and bougainvillea.
